Introduction

Hi, my name's Varian. I'm new to Dreamwidth (here because Tumblr is exploding) and I've been a knitting for about 4 years now. I'm currently working on this shawl (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/stratus-wrap) and have gotten to the point that each row takes a long time to do, but I'm still having fun with it.

I don't think I'll make the tassels, since I think it would be way too easy to sit on them. Plus we have a dog who might decide that the tassels are her new toy.

The main color I'm using is a black yarn with rainbow colored ribbons woven through it. The other colors I'm using are purple, turquoise, and yellow.

Great pattern, very effective! What colours did you choose?

I took up knitting a few years ago when I decided to make a Doctor Who scarf. I love learning new techniques; YouTube has been invaluable.
