One down - one to go!

I finished one of the Totoro mittens.

It is my hand in the picture, since the lady I am making them for has hands about the same size...

The stranding makes for an interesting fit, but I hope she likes them...

It's made with Knit Picks Wool of the Andes, and since it is stranded, it was WARM! I also knit a bit tighter than the gauge from the directions which is why I switch to a larger needle.

They're gorgeous! I actually picked up some Alpaca the other day with plans of maybe making these...all because I saw your WIP pictures the other day. (Although I am slightly nervous about all the chart following, because sometimes my mind wanders. But omg Totoro love.)

I kinda cheat... I use a post it to keep my place in the chart and just move it up as I complete each row.

Love your icon. There was a tree like that at the Morton Arboretum in IL.
