Knitting Blog Recs
Does anyone have suggestions for useful, good knitting blogs? I'm not a particularly twee person, so I'm looking for anything useful and interesting, but not cutesy. I've been looking, but there are so many knitting blogs out there that it's hard to winnow through them all.
Thank you for any suggestions!

It's not updated very often, but it's been going a while and there's a pretty big back catalogue at this point. The illustrations and explanations are excellent. It's one of my first stops when I'm trying any new technique.

I'll third TECHknitting; it's often a bit dry but the technical content is just stellar. It's more of a reference than something to keep up with on a regular basis. (Not to mention it's on vacation.)
The Yarn Harlot is definitely worth a look, too. (Honestly, I don't find it nearly as entertaining as I used to and her books don't grab me like they used to, but I'm not sure if I changed or if her writing did!)

Canary Knits does an indie designer showcase once a week that I love and find useful.
I read Anne Hanson's Knitspot blog for the pictures, which are always stunning.
Knitted Bliss does Modification Monday, showing off a knitter who transformed one pattern into another idea with lovely results. She also has an infant who makes regular appearances, as a warning. Still, I find the inspiration of Modification Monday worth the subscription.
My personal soft spot blog is Jean Knits, where an older expat writes about a lot of the more technical sides of knitting, but not in an educational sort of way. She just drops names and facts. I love it, but I'm someone who prefers impetus to do my own research.
