(The Learn To Knit Afghan Ravelry link) So, I mean, obviously since I have so much of this bare yarn and it's such a long project...I should totally use some of it to learn how to dye yarn! Right?

Right. :D

This one went so well that I'm going to do another one and take some pictures and actually write a tutorial for it. I used a number of different methods from various tutorials I've seen. The result was that when I went to rinse it I go NO bleed. None! On my first try!

I'm very excited. :D I'm not hugely in love with the pink section. I needed to dilute my pink more and spread it more evenly, but I think that it will knit up looking really great. <strike>Two</strike> Five ( pictures behind the cut! )

<strike>So now I need to name it! Any suggestions?</strike> :D Anyone else reminded of getting Baskin Robbins Gumball Ice Cream when you were a kid? I think that's what I'm going to call it.

Gumball Ice Cream!

comments
