Irony

Irony is: thinking, 'it's okay that there's a power cut, I can work on knitting my sock', and then realising that the pattern you're following is on a PDF on the computer, which is one of many things which run off electricity...

This post brought to you by my attempting to knit socks, as a distraction from getting around to washing my newly spun alpaca+silk+merino and knitting that up. (And, yes, the electricity is back up, and I have now printed out the pattern. #learningtoolate.)

Oh,yes, pdf patterns. I have only kind of learned that lesson.

I finally learned to save my Ravelry patterns to my library, as well as my computer -- that way I can access them from my phone in case of emergency.

Now if I could just find a way to keep track of my needles ...
