Finally making a dent
I'm finally making a dent in my Christmas knitting. Money is tighter than usual this year and really everyone I exchange presents with has more than enough stuff. So...enter knitting projects. In the past 2 weeks, I've finished:
A pair of socks for my dad (which I'd started about 3 years ago when I was teaching a class on sock knitting and then stopped when I got caught up in other knitting
EZ 100th Anniversary Half Pi Shawl: Hearts (this one still needs to be blocked and is for my cousin)
Butterfly Hat (for my mom)
Shilling Hat (for my dad)
I also am going to knit a pair of slippers for my mom but I haven't found the pattern I want to use yet.
I don't have pics of any of the projects yet but I'm anxious to get that shawl blocked. Of course I have to clean off the dining room table so I can actually put blocking mats on it.
