Having finished it yesterday, I'm now blocking it or attempting to, at least - since it's acrylic, it may not work, though I hope I don't have to try and steam-iron it!

The colours don't show up too well, but I think on the close-up you can see that the blue-ish bit is actually blue and yellow knitted together; the yellow is two strands together. I bought cones of very cheap acrylic from a charity shop, but it was just too fine to use single.

That's fabulous! I have some cones of thread like that; good idea for how to use them.

Yeah, unfortunately you can't really block acrylic, but a nice, gentle washing is never a bad idea. Looks pretty!

I suspect it won't 'block' as such, not the same way wool would; but at least it'll dry flat, and in shape (I hope), which is as much as I would hope for with acrylic.

You can, actually! But not the way you block wool.

It requires steam and a lot of patience and a gentle hand. :)
