Yarn Swap 2010 Update

So far there's 17 participants, some from the Crochet Side of the Weave, some from the Knitting Side of the Weave.

The Swap is open until 30 November 2010, so feel free to join us!


The idea behind this is simple: people like mail. Well, they like mail that's not bills, donation requests or spam.

There are few rules and here they are:
-Everyone will get their match by 3 December (so I can have time to tabulate everything when we close 30 November) and everything has to be sent by 7 January 2011.
-Please make sure your match doesn't have a fiber allergy - we don't want anyone getting something that makes them sick. That's definitely not fun at all.
-I'm pretty sure nobody wants to send their super nice stuff, but let's not send the dregs of our stash, either. (Not trying to be offensive, but you know, it's got to be said.)
-Talk to your person! It's a good way to make sure you're sending something that won't give them hives.

Just found out about this from the Dreamwidth update email. I'm very new (today), but can I join in? Mostly a weaver but also a yarn-a-holic. :) Probably would prefer natural fibers.

Sure! Everyone's going to get their name and then they'll get a chance to talk to their person as well, just to make sure everyone gets something they can use without hives or rashes or anything.
