escargot!

wow. i knit this one up quick! part of my sister's xmas gift was for me to knit her the hat of her choice. she fell in love with escargot when i showed it to her.

the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, with some short rows done in the brim of the hat. even after swatching and concluding i needed a smaller needle, the hat still came out bigger than i wanted it to, but it turned out to fit her perfectly. i'm going to make another hat in the opposite colors with the left-over yarn - and use an even smaller needle - or maybe i'll buy a 3rd color... hmmmmmm....

Cool! I've knitted two of these so far (but only blocked and sewed up the first) and I think they're awesome. Plus the first one I made was in almost the same colours as yours - just a darker green! (It, too, came out bigger-than-expected, especially after blocking.)

i feel like i sewed the swirl on a little lower than i wanted to and i think it got slightly bigger with the blocking too, but my sister is happy with it so far so it's all good :)

can't wait for you to post them, i love checking out all the different versions there are
