Norwegian Snowflake Scarf
This took muchmuch longer than I thought it would (I started it just after the beginning of football season) but it's finally done!
The colorwork sections were very much worth the miles of stockinette. I may do this one again. More details on my Ravelry page; feel free to friend me either there or here! :)

It's really not as hard as it looks, just following the chart one row at a time. As soon as I quit trying to hold one color in each hand it just started flowing. I use one of those metal thimbles and pick both colors from my left hand. Just be really careful if you work on it in front of the TV. :)

That's a cute bag. The finishing is always the hardest part for me too. This project could've been finished weeks ago if I just would've DONE it. :)

It's that lovely moment when you're all, oh, the knitting's done...what do you mean I have a bit more to do? :)

The gal I made it for is about six feet tall & lives in Michigan, so she'll probably appreciate the length. :) The surprising part is I only used four balls of blue Palette - so not even close to six all together. The pattern calls for six skeins of the main color alone in sport-wt so I was expecting to use at least that much.

Cool; added you back. I've been meaning to make that Cathedral purse. Aside from the needle breakage how did you like the pattern?

After a while I just brought it everywhere & it seemed to go pretty fast. It actually wasn't that bad, very relaxing to sit in front of the tv & work mindless stockinette ITR for a couple hours. :)
