I think you need to test and see if the tension is the same and maybe use double the amount of Kidsilk Haze or find something else the same weight as the metallic would have been. It depends if the metallic is doing something structural there (or the pattern is heavily adapted to account for its presence) rather than just being glittery and decorative but I've never used it so I don't know what it's like.
