Some Recent FO's
Mar. 12th, 2010 07:36 pmI've finished a few projects recently, and thought I'd post a few pictures...
First up, my one and only Noro scarf. The pattern's pretty simple, and all the design comes from the colour in the yarn. I haven't stopped wearing this scarf since I finished it!

I also finished a miniature Clapotis. This was done with 4 expansion and contraction repeats instead of 7, and 7 body repeats instead of 13, to try to size it down for a 4-year-old. She saw me knitting a full-size one for a friend for Christmas, and asked if I could make her one, too. Her birthday's Sunday, and she'll get it then. Hopefully, she'll like it. It's done in a superwash merino.

Finally, I finished the GoddessKnit's Victorian Romance Shawl. I'm tempted to re-block it a little more circular, but it's comfortable to wear the way it is, so I probably won't bother. Besides, I don't think I can find a place big enough to block it that way. I used Knitpicks Gloss Lace.

Date: 2010-03-13 12:00 pm (UTC)I actually used Silk Garden Lite, and it was real easy to work with. I heard a lot of complaints about knotted and broken yarn with Noro, but I saw none.
