Argus Knitalong: Week 4
Mar. 28th, 2010 05:48 pmGUISE OMG I'M LATE
Sorry, peeps. So, what's the story on our collective Argii? I tuckered out on both spinning and knitting this week and am still on Chart B. It's starting to get interesting, though! :) Are folks having fun? Hating it? Anyone new to charts on this project, and if so, are you hating charts, loving charts, indifferent? :)
Please feel free to share your progress, pics, problems, observations, squees, whatevers in the comments!

Date: 2010-03-28 10:21 pm (UTC)I've never worked with charts before, nor done a lacework project. It's not put me off ever doing something like this ever again, but I am finding it very unforgiving. I have to pay attention all the time; as soon as I'm not focussing 100% on it, I drop a stitch or mistake where I am and end up having go undo work. Ultimately, this means I'm only working on it at weekends, so it's slow going.
Also, I've never blocked a project before, so that's gonna be interesting!

Date: 2010-03-28 10:39 pm (UTC)I also count and make sure there's still eight stitches between each marker while perling back; I've caught a couple of missed psso stitches that way.
As of right now I am down to the last two charted rows on Chart C, so I should be able to finish tomorrow!
