Help!

I'm stuck in the absolute middle of nowhere (Hall's Crossing, Utah) 90 miles from the nearest town. I have five sets of plastic needles ranging from 8 to 10.5US and four balls of Vanna's Choice Yarn in rust and faded eggplant.

What do I do with this?

Help me, Knitting-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

It says it wants 5sts/inch and the VC yarn is ~4sts/inch but the pattern seems pretty generic.

I have to admit ... I read your location as "Hell's Crossing". Though I suppose 90 miles from town is a definition of Hell if I've ever heard one.. :)

Order one set of bamboo needles from Joann.com? And use emery board to sharpen the points a little, and then slightly polish the wood shaft.

You're in Hall's Crossing... Utah... you deserve something that feels good in your hands and doesn't make you curse. It'll make the Vanna's Choice flow a lot better. [pets you]
