wyomingnot: (keep calm and carry yarn)
[personal profile] wyomingnot posting in [community profile] knitting

I got the word today that I am going to be teaching English in Mongolia for a year. Yay!

Of course, this means downsizing and packing all the things.

To that end, a giant de-stash.

I have everything on my sale/trade stash page on Ravelry. Prices include shipping and are in US dollars as I am only shipping domestically, sorry. Unless you're local to me (NE Kansas/KCMO), I'm only accepting Paypal for payment.

Any questions, please send me a pm either on Ravelry or here.

Thanks~!

After folks have had a chance to claim what they want, I will lay claim to as much economy-range superwash wool worsted (Beyond Basic, Lamb's Pride, Plymouth - and any mystery yarn which appears to be wool worsted ) as will fit into a medium or large flat rate box. We can figure out how much that will cost once you cram it in the box. (I can pay postage for either size box, but if there's only enough for a medium we might as well use that one!)

So mostly just saying if no one wants 'em, don't fret as I will take 'em. (I do a lot of charity knitting during football season.)

And I also want the crystal palace panda superwash Night shade colorway (both skeins), regardless (but it can wait to ship with the rest).

Wow, that is amazing. And I may be in Mongolia next summer. If so, I will try to look you up!

Might be a good idea to also crosspost to [community profile] crochet.

Wah! Why am I in the UK, when you have so many lovely yarns available that we just can't get over here?

Good luck in Mongolia - that sounds like fun!

Want ALL THE YARNS.

Cannot afford ALL THE YARNS. LOL

I sent you a PM with my picks. Also, if there's anything you'd be willing to send with a "knit me a ____ out of this and send it back to me," I'd do that. :)

Edited to add: Congratulations on your new job and exciting experience!

Oh, no - the postage would be ridiculous (speaking from experience); and it would be silly for me to raid my Paypal unnecessarily.

Out of all those, I've managed to buy some Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted in the UK, also the Regia, and I've had a couple of balls of the Crystal Palace Panda but in Bamboo/Silk. Noro, of course, is around (though personally I hate the feel of it); and Colinette, occasionally the Handmaiden Casbah, Manos is around, madelinetosh sometimes. But that's about it, and most of those are rarely seen. The Wisdom Yarns Poems is sold as Rico Poems over here - at least, I think it's the same thing.

I'm trying not to drool over the Plymouth Yarn Happy Feet and some of the other sock/lace yarns, though...
