So, I've finished several projects recently but I haven't posted because I am a lazy cow. XD So here they are!

My first hat

Made using the "Classic World War II Watch Cap" pattern by Helen Waittes. I actually screwed it up slightly, because I didn't read the pattern closely enough. I missed the k6-p2 section in between the main ribbing and the crown shaping. But I think it looks really good anyway, and it's for my neighbor, who will probably love it just as it is.

My second hat

Made using the same pattern, only as you can see I remembered the k6-p2 section this time. And I made a bobble for the top. This one is for me, to match the very first scarf I ever made.

Teeny stash bag

This bag is actually slightly fail, because I totally did the handle wrong. I *should* have put in three-stitch lifelines on either side and made the handle actually part of the bag; instead, I just braided up a strand of yarn and ran it through the back and knotted it on the inside. I didn't realize until later that this means if I actually use the handle as a handle, it's going to end up pulling holes in the back of the bag. I'll do it again later and do it right, but I needed it to carry the plug for my MacBook when I go out of town this week. (It's also big enough for a cell phone, iPod or similar device. It also lacks a button, but I may actually leave the house tomorrow, in which case I shall endeavor to acquire one.

Baktus scarf

I'm actually not sure how I feel about this one. It looks very... blah, I think. Maybe I should add some tassels or something on the points? Suggestions are welcome.

And finally, my first sock!

I took a sock-making class at the local yarn shop. Rather than using a pattern, she had us make socks using the basic measurements of our feet. I don't know what I did wrong, but my sock ended up being about an inch too long and several stitches too wide. But hey, I made a sock! LOL.

So, that's what I've been doing. What have YOU been doing?
