I'm getting ready to make the Star Crossed Slouchy Beret (on Ravelry). It tells me to work the first five rounds on size 10 dpn then switch to a size 11 circular needle. How does one switch needles mid-project? I just know I'm being completely obtuse...

When you get to the sixth round, just hold your dpn in your left hand and your circ in your right hand, and knit as normally. You may want to put a stopper on the other end of the circ so that when you get towards the end of the round the stitches won't be able to slip off.
