A question about m1

Hello all.

So I'm working on a beret. All through the first part of the pattern there are m1 stitches which are clearly defined as either leaning left or right. And now I've gotten to the part where I'm decreasing and there is a row which has m1 but no indication which direction it's supposed to go in.

Is there a third m1 stitch that I don't know about (it's entirely possible)? Or should I just pick a direction and stick with it?

Any ideas?

I'd go with whichever direction matched the ones made in the analogous parts earlier in the pattern, if it were me.

I'm going to second rivenwanderer, I'd just try and follow the pattern established or, yes, pick one and stick with it. :)

Thanks! I did that and it looks good. Now if I could only just finish the darn thing because my socks are wearing through so I really need to knit more (and don't do well with multiple projects on needles at a time).
