Am I being overly ambitious (or wasteful with my money) if I get the Try It KnitPicks set of interchangeable needles?

It would make me feel more like a Serious Knitter. (But am I a Serious Knitter? Jury's still out.)

The project I'm working on right now needs at least a 47" size 7 circular needle - I've pretty much shoved as many stitches as possible on my existing 29".

I really like my KP interchangeables. Actually, KPs are my goto needles for fixed circs as well--their really long sock needles are all I use. I've tried others and keep going back to the KPs. I like that this set lets you try both wood and metal. I go for the nickel ones almost every time, but others prefer wood.

I'd say go for it!

Thank you! I saw it on a post in LJ, and they didn't remember where they got it, so I credited it to them. I had the same reaction when I first saw it. I still giggle at it.
