Handspun cowl/shawlette

I attempted a pattern from a recent "Spin Off" magazine, using some handspun yarn I made over the Summer, using a drop-spindle.
Cardboard Princess Leia was an excellent model (yet again!)


Yarn is merino (dyed pink in a dyebath left over from a darker pink project) plied with silk / alpaca.
Turned out larger than in the instructions, but still fits around the neck and will keep the wearer warm (which are the main things!).
