Hi, my name's Varian. I'm new to Dreamwidth (here because Tumblr is exploding) and I've been a knitting for about 4 years now. I'm currently working on this shawl (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/stratus-wrap) and have gotten to the point that each row takes a long time to do, but I'm still having fun with it.

That looks like a great shawl for wrapping up in chilly weather. What colors are you using?

The main color I'm using is a black yarn with rainbow colored ribbons woven through it. The other colors I'm using are purple, turquoise, and yellow.

I should have read all the comments before I commented! Great colours - turquoise and purple are two of my favourite colours. I hope you post a photo when you've finished it.
