Just venting
Feb. 27th, 2010 03:26 pmSo, my project has been going along pretty smoothly, and I hope to make the St Patrick Day's deadline for wearing the finished product. I've finished the back and am cruising along on the front.
But today, I've made two different stupid mistakes of a level I hadn't previously reached for this project. First, I discovered I'd been getting the pattern wrong on the edge, and had to unpick and re-knit 9 rows of about 9 stitches on that side. Then, in a K2tog row, I managed to do them nearly all as SSKs, and didn't realise until the next front-side row, so more picking back and re-doing.
Obviously, my knitting does not want me to work on it today! So I'm posting a photo of it (with mistakes fixed) and hopefully some sympathetic comments will let me get back in harmony with this pattern tomorrow.
