So, I think we have a finished shawl somewhere in our ranks! How are the rest of us doing?

When I'm photographing lace-in-progress, I actually pin it out on the needles. It opens up the pattern pretty well. That's all I've got.

I finally made it on to Chart B! OK, it's only by one row at the moment, but I was starting to wonder if I'd ever get off A, so I'm pleased.

I'll try and take a picture later on...

I'm about halfway through Chart C (maybe a bit less) and just tied on my second skein of yarn, which makes me think there will be enough left over to do something else interesting.

I'm also starting to wonder where one might acquire blocking wires, as opposed to using dozens of straight pins when the time comes.

Neither - the chart says to expect to use 350 yards, and my skeins are only 220 yards each.

I will check Knitpicks, thanks!

I'm not (too) ashamed. I did start late. But I also had to start over three times. No matter what I'm knitting, dish clothe or afghan, I have to start over three times. Can someone explain that to me?

Possibly. It just strikes me as odd.
