Cold is coming

I had two balls of leftover sock yarn and it's starting to get colder and wetter here, so I figured I should prepare for winter and make a pair of fair isle mittens.

I based myself on these Mittens To Order but found them a bit small, so I fiddled with the pattern and design to come up with these. I feel they look pretty odd with that really long hand, but they fit perfectly so I'm trying hard not to care.
