NaKniMo

I'm not officially participating in NaKniMo (Ravelry link) but I thought I would use the opportunity to get some projects completed and work on some others that I may or may not be able to complete.  Does anyone want to join me?

To be completed:
1) Scarf for my grandmother's birthday.  Needs tassels.
2) Dishcloth that I found this morning that has been bound off.  Just needs ends woven in. Finished Nov 2
3) Add snaps to baby bib.

To work on:
1) Scarf for barter.  Made with silk sari yarn.  Worked on it yesterday and today. 
2) Baby blanket.

I'm working on a small blanket that was begun before about five (also smallish) projects--and all of the five are finished now. It'd be great to finish the blanket this month, at a minimum.

I doubt I'll count stitches for NaKnitMo participation, however.

Counting stitches in this way is my idea of a special kind of hell. That's why I decided just listing my goals and working towards them would be the way to go.

(Counting words for NaNoWriMo, while not as hellish since the computer will do it for me, isn't my way either. I'm doing a time thing for NaNoWriMo. 15 min. per day.)

It works really well. I actually get more written when I go by time instead of words.

So I just went through and counted all my wips. ELEVEN. Yes. *Eleven* unfinished projects.

Oh my god, I need to stop clicking on new pattern links.

Anyway! I'd love to join with you in finishing some!

To be completed:
Pac-man and ghosts (this is four projects, but one gift)
Knitted mouse
Mostly-done dress (needs bust and straps)
Lacey scarf
Helmet liner for my brother who's overseas
Cabled shoulder-shawl (needs a frog or buttons)
Stained-glass afgan (half-done, needs more blocks and piecing)
Adult hat in sock yarn

I had no idea I had THAT many projects that were waiting to be finished. Bad me. No cookie. ...Good lord, what do I do first...

Yay! I'm glad to have company.

I am working on the scarf cause it's soft and fun.
Finished up the dishcloth since it was low-hanging fruit and I needed a break from actually knitting.

I'm going to try and finish the majority of my christmas presents this month, I thought about NaKniMo, but all that counting? No thanks!
To finish:
1. Niece 2's Topsy Turvy Doll, she needs arms and hair for both sides still.
2. Braided scarf for one friend, about 2/3 done.
3. Peace, Love and Happiness pillow for another, barely started.
4. Two more outfits for Niece 1's Sally Doll, doll itself already completed.
5. Stop whining and get going of BFFs Cafe Capelet after my major dropped stitch mishap that made me have to ravel it all back (sobsobcrywhine) and a pair of fingerless gloves for her once I get the yarn.
If by some miracle I actually get all this done that will leave me with only a tiny tea set to knit before gift giving time....dang that's a long list.

I turned down NaKniMo participation for the same reason but I like the idea of achieving projects.

What exactly is a braided scarf?

Pattern here, with couple changes. I'm doing just four sections of braids with a longer k1p1 rib section for the middle, and I made it a little more narrow. I'm using Lion Brand Hometown USA in pink, and I really like how it's turning out.

Need to do a proper post with all my WIPs this weekend sometime, but there's the scarf so far. Next up is another braid section.
