Baptism gift

It's my nephews's baptism in two months and I am going to be his godmother. I knit him a baby blanket for his birth and I am wondering if anyone has any idea on whether there's anything I can knit for this occasion that isn't something he would only wera for a month or two and then grow out of. I am not really coming up with anything.

There are some baby sweater patterns that have turned cuffs and extra length, which make it possible for the child to grow and still wear it. But it depends on the weather, if a sweater would even be appropriate.
