Baptism gift

It's my nephews's baptism in two months and I am going to be his godmother. I knit him a baby blanket for his birth and I am wondering if anyone has any idea on whether there's anything I can knit for this occasion that isn't something he would only wera for a month or two and then grow out of. I am not really coming up with anything.

Off topic, but congratulations on getting to be his Godmother. I'm sure you'll be an excellent one!

I'd like to second the notion put forth for a stuffed creature of some sort. A lamb or something would be something appropriate for the occasion.
