Baptism gift

It's my nephews's baptism in two months and I am going to be his godmother. I knit him a baby blanket for his birth and I am wondering if anyone has any idea on whether there's anything I can knit for this occasion that isn't something he would only wera for a month or two and then grow out of. I am not really coming up with anything.

Honestly, I don't tend to knit clothes for babies that young, because they've outgrown them before I finish the garment. And the baby won't care anyway. I'd say either a soft toy that could potentially become a beloved companion, or maybe even something for the parents - a bible cover, or something like that.
