tiny projects go faster--usually!
May. 18th, 2011 08:08 pmI knit mostly for my dolls these days; fitting is easier and I can usually finish things faster. In fact, I have yet to make a full-size sweater, but I've made three doll-sized ones and have another on the needles. It's fun!
Here's my latest effort, a dress for one of my tiny BJDs. Mirga is about 5" tall; she's a Sleeping Elf BJD:

I wanted an uneven fringed edging; I'm really pleased with how the whole thing came out. I might make another soon. I also knit this small outfit for Mirga's sister, Tayet:

She's the same height as Mirga, but a much fuller figure. I learned to do short rows for the shaping on the top, which was pretty exciting.
