World Wide Knit In Public Day!

Tomorrow (or really, an hour from now) is going to be Knit In Public Day.  Are any of you going to bear the elements to enjoy this event?  You can go here and look up to see if your LYS is hosting a kip.  I might be going back and forth between Creekside Fabrics in Arcade, NY and The Dancing Goat Yarn Shop in my current town of Warsaw, NY.  Will hope to get some pictures!

The sun held out brilliantly in my part of the world where it is winter. They'd planned it for a sheltered section in case of inclemency but it was so cold in the shade everyone moved out into the square - everywhere you looked there where people, knitting in the sunshine. There was a jazz festival and a winter arts festival in the same public space so it was quite full on.

Just looked and there's three alone going on in my town. Unfortunately, my mom and I cannot go until after the guy installing our TV is done. :(

It looks like my knitting in public will be while my BF helps his brother move things into/out of storage. Not so much of a social event, as it is a "I would help you carry that big ass heavy box, but I just have to finish this row first....oh look now you're done anyway"
I might be using my knitting for evil there...oops?
