[personal profile] closetedfangirl posting in [community profile] knitting
I've joined the 52 Projects in 52 Weeks challenge group on Ravelry and we've had to post up our game plan for June. (Challenge starts on June 1.)

Soooo...my plan for June:
  1. Nintendo DS case
  2. Scarf for Ally
  3. spin/ply 4 oz of stashed fiber
  4. dreamerknits’ heart and stars blanket - WIP rescue

The whole thing is probably wishful thinking for me, but oh well. Worth a shot :)

I just joined. I haven't been knitting long, and it's a bit scary, but it'll get me moving on my "paper chain" scarf (counting each link as a project will get me a long way!) and on the dishcloths I need to finish for my Mother and Mother-in-Law. I think I might start an Afghan, too. Doing something in blocks is usually good for me because it keeps giving me something to show for all my hard work! XD
Thank you for sharing. I don't check Ravelry as often I should and I've been meaning to get more involved. :)

Certainly! I'll be out of town until Sunday and I'm drowing in preparations but I'll find you and add you when I get back home. :)

Oh man. This sounds like a fabulous idea that I really should partake in. I really need to get more involved in ravelry; I joined months ago but tend to forget to log in and whatnot.

I'm completely considering it. My June is super busy but this looks oh so fun.

Wow, what a cool and scary challenge. I'd go for it if I didn't have so many large lace projects queued up. Actually, maybe I could manage it if I made a lot of socks and counted each sock as a separate project... But then I'd have to buy a lot more sock yarn and I really shouldn't, not with all the money I've been spending on lace yarn lately!

Good luck!

Oh, wow. Considering I've failed the Embodiment Project twice (only got to April before losing steam) and my November is dedicated to NaNoWriMo, I believe this year I shall pass. LOL!

The idea of knitting a project a week simply is too intimidating for a new knitter such as myself (only been into it for 5 months).

Perhaps next June. ;-)

Good luck!

I joined that community a little while ago; I'm hoping it'll help me motivate myself to finish up some smaller projects and some UFOs that have been lying about for far too long. I don't have a particular game plan in mind, not yet, but I suspect it'll involve a whole lot of facecloths. *laughs*
