Hi! I'm new to DW and this group. Here are a few projects I've finished recently.



Turn a Square hat pattern by Jared Flood, knit in Patons Classic Wool (Black, Grey Mix, and New Denim) and Patons Soy Wool Stripes (Natural Navy)

Bias Lace Scarf, pattern by Susan Ashcroft. Yarn is Premier Everyday Soft Worsted Prints (Vineyard)

Sojourn Mitts by Robin Sample knit in Filatura di Crosa Zara Chine (Light Denim)

Encompass by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, knit in Ivy by Nashua Handknits (pink)

It's a great pattern, knits up very quickly. I just finished another one, and will probably make a few more. Great way to use up leftover yarn. :)

I too am intrigued by the scarf, as I often get bored with projects unless they're sufficiently challenging...this may also lead to excess cursing, however, when I realize I've read the pattern wrong and have to pull back 10 rows.

I get bored making scarves and don't make them often, but this one kept me entertained almost until the end. :) I will probably use this pattern again.

That hat pattern is in my To Make pile -- just waiting on the yarn decision, now that it's cold enough for me to want a new hat.

I think it just became my favorite hat pattern. I just finished another one and will probably make a couple more. (Guess what all the guys in my family are getting as gifts this year?) I like it because it's fast, but not boring and I can use up a lot of leftover yarn.

Isn't the Turn a Square Hat pattern awesome? Mine looks very much like your first one. I did mine in Cascade 220, colorway 8622 and Noro Kureyon, colorway 149. I loooooooooooooove it.

I really like those mitts. You did a lovely job on them!

oooooh, Noro, sounds lovely. I don't have any of that in my stash now, but I have some of the Patons striped wool left and am thinking of making another one with blue as the main color. It really is a great pattern. :)
