Well, poking around on Google took me back to Ravelry, where he's got this on his designer's page:
"1/10/12: After much thought, I have decided to kill the blog, Yarn Ball Boogie. I will no longer post anything there. I am already in the process of developing a brand new aesthetic and will be slowly rolling it out. There are just too many issues with the host site’s security and it’s not worth it.
My new blog will be through blogspot, called Wrong Side Facing.
I’m really looking forward to crafting a whole new start……"
