Latest project and Zen knitting

knittingI'm knitting this thing at the moment, and it's so Zen I can hardly believe it. No anxieties, no worries, no pressure to get it done, nothing. I just sit down. Knit a round. Maybe two. And walk away again. Or I get caught up in whatever I'm watching and knit 15 rounds. It's all good. No counting, just the occasional meassuring, and the enjoyment of watching the knitting flow from color to color with absolutely no effort.
It also doesn't hurt that I chose the rainbow-colored yarn for this project, and thoroughly enjoy the many different colors and the joyfulness of said colors. Perfect winter knitting. And perfect knitting for thesis-breaks. :-D
