Via @gloss, check this out: Cowichan First Nation knitters investigated as a security threat for Vancouver Winter Olympics. I'm used to all the knitting-on-airplanes discussion about pointy needles omg, but this is ... different :-/

I don't know from "national security" but I'm a shitload more dangerous on a plane WITHOUT my needles, than I am with them.
