Looking for a backpack-style knitting bag
Jun. 11th, 2012 11:44 amI need to replace my knitting bag because the holes in the bottom are large enough to stick my entire finger through. I'm having a hard time finding bags that are in the backpack form factor, though. I have only found two so far- the one I have (from Walker) and one released by Namaste this year.
Do any of you know of any others? (I don't need recommendations- it's fine with me if you can't vouch for quality. I just want pointers.)

They also make great shoulder bags just for knitting:

I own a Little Swift knitting bag, and the quality is beyond excellent!

http://halcyonyarn.com/odds_ends/accessory_bags.html (scroll all the way to the bottom: they have one in cream/navy and one in pink/lime)
http://www.cafepress.com/+knitting+canvas-bags on the left side, under the filters, find the "canvas bag" filter and choose "sack pack" - those are like those drawstring bags the kids often use for backpacks now. And they have cute knitting-related prints. I'm personally quite fond of the one that has three balls of yarn and the word ballsack. XD
Hope that helps!
