Book suggestions?

I have a couple of extra nickels to spend on knitting books, and I'm interested in your suggestions. I'm especially interested in books that provide a variety of different kinds of patterns, not just "book of cardigans" or similar, if that makes sense.

I second the Walker recommendation. Particularly the Learn To Knit Afghan Book. I'm working my way through it right now and having a blast doing instant-gratification style blocks in just about every pattern under the sun.
