I finally have socks that fit! Perfectly! (Well, a sock.)

The second sock is up to the heel flap, as I started it while I was working on the other sock.

And I even wrote down what I did, so hopefully it's something I can replicate. Apparently swatching three times was worth it.

Also it's super awesome that you wrote down exactly what you did. I always mean to write better notes and then have to stare at my first sock/mitten/whatever to figure out what it was that seemed so obvious the first time 'round.

What helped was that I cast on for the second sock while I was doing the first, and that kind of jolted me into, "Wait, I need to remember this." Somehow my brain works much better in tandem...

My first pair of socks was with their yarn in the Marine colorway, and I loved working with it. Might be discontinued but it was really close to what they have listed as Kelp (except no brown and brighter green). I have some Rapids stashed, trying to decide if it will be socks or if it would pair well enough with ivory to be a wedding shalwette someday. In a perfect world (one where you could win the lottery by wishing really hard) I would have a sweaters quantity of Wasabi :)
