Anyone here participate in Ravellenic Games (over on ravelry) during the Olympics?
I did and have three shiny finished projects to show for it. I posted them one by one in my own journal, but decided to wait on posting here until the end (save you from me spamming the group!)

I had no idea how much knitting I could get done in such a short amount of time!
Three projects in under three weeks is A LOT for me.

First project finished was my Dalek hat- please excuse the weird camera angle, I took this one myself and haven't gotten anyone to take a better one of me wearing it yet. 101 degrees out today, not exactly hat weather!

Next (and my personal biggest goal) a pair of socks. Like both of them. In less time than one has taken me before, Without waiting months and months between the first and second one. I'm still (pleasantly!) shocked at myself lol

And eeking in just before deadline, my tea cozy

I set a new goal for myself to only work on WIPs for the next 17 days. No casting on anything new! I have 9 WIPs right now, and only four of them were meant to be long term projects. I'm going to try and finish at least two of them and catch up on a couple squares for the Sherlock blanket before the end of the month.

Three projects? Congratulations! I only managed one shawl, though it did 'compete' in three separate events - Lace Longjump, Shawl Sailing, and Balance Beads. And I hasn't been blocked yet (I washed it through and laid it flat to get photos, but didn't have any blocking supplies with me as I was on holiday).
