Addi Turbos!
Dec. 12th, 2012 10:59 amI got my first pair of Addi Turbos two days ago to replace a pair of Clovers that were a little too short.
I really want to make all kinds of all caps comments with lots of exclamation points going on about why did no one tell me about these wonderful things, but honestly, everyone actually has, I just wasn't listening all that well. Ok, actually I had fixated on Clovers as my needle brand because they were such an improvement over the aluminum ones generally available at craft stores.
Don't get me wrong, I still love my Clovers, it's just that once you get down to about US 2, they're not strong enough for the length of the needle and I've broken a few.
I'm so excited about the new needles that I have the urge to tell everyone I know 'I bought my first Addis!', but all the non-knitters look at me like I'm nuts.

Date: 2012-12-13 06:26 am (UTC)The store I got most of mine from back in Kansas City only carried up to 47", so that's mostly what I have. Future purchases will be 60". Bonus! I found a vendor on ebay who sells ChiaoGoo at a good price and will ship to Mongolia!!
