I did it!! My very first pair of socks! That actually fit! (I am not counting the crochet ones that are like humongous mukluks I wear around the house.)
Thanks!! I found a design I liked and did that counting thing (otherwise known as Math) to figure out where they'd fit on the foot. Took ages. I'm soooo happy it worked!
Superwash wool. Fairly cheap stuff, it's not the softest around. And I've noticed I knit kinda tight, so although the "basic sock pattern" I'd found called for 2's, I went up to two size 4 circs. Both socks were done at the same time, and except for getting confused for a bit around the heel, it worked out pretty good!!
